About the Role
As a technical, hands-on leader, you'll drive the creation of next-generation smart applications that impact over 60 million users and facilitate 50 million inference requests a day. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly autonomous and ownership-driven team, tackling intricate business and user interaction problems with pioneering ML and agentic technologies. Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing agile team, ensuring timely project delivery of high-quality AI solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Innovate with Agent Tooling and AI Technologies: Evaluate, integrate, and deploy cutting-edge tooling/technologies, including LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph.
Mentor and grow your team by providing coaching and support for career and personal development.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to prioritize, plan, and deliver first-rate experiences for our customers.
Recruit and retain a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications
Sr. Manager ML Engineering
5+ years of demonstrated engineering leadership.
5+ years of experience leading the AI/Machine Learning development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
3+ years of experience developing AWS cloud-based applications, leveraging FastAPI, Kubernetes (K8s), and Python as a primary language.
Manager ML Engineering
2+ years of demonstrated engineering leadership.
5+ years of experience leading the AI/Machine Learning development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
3+ years of experience developing AWS cloud-based applications, leveraging FastAPI, Kubernetes (K8s), and Python as a primary language.
Other Qualifications
Proven experience with machine learning, model development, emerging frameworks and algorithms.
A deep understanding of what it takes to build and deliver high-quality, scalable applications, with a focus on test automation and performance engineering.
A deep understanding of data engineering, data science, and other supporting disciplines such as emerging agent evaluation requirements
Experience in people management, with a commitment to the growth and well-being of your colleagues and a talent for building a psychologically safe and inclusive team environment.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills that allow you to effectively navigate complex organizational structures and contribute to key business and technical decisions.
The ability to understand complex requirements and communicate technical details effectively to diverse audiences, from your team to executive stakeholders.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
