Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Kiosk Associate to join our team inside Sam’s Club. This role is part of a retail kiosk environment, where the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in engaging with members, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the daily operations of our T-Mobile kiosk. The position involves actively approaching customers in a membership-based warehouse setting, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring that the kiosk is well-stocked, merchandised, and ready for traffic throughout the day. Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting Sam’s Club members and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations in the kiosk environment to enhance customer understanding and promote sales.
- Supervise junior team members when needed, offering guidance and support.
- Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays within the kiosk to attract members and promote products effectively.
- Assist with stocking and inventory management to ensure kiosk availability.
- Apply basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory checks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and members, demonstrating professionalism and strong phone etiquette when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, wireless, or a grocery/warehouse club environment is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to confidently engage customers in a kiosk setting through product demos and upselling strategies.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage merchandising and stocking efficiently in a smaller-format retail space.
