- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software challenges while contributing innovative solutions.
- Learn and apply new programming languages and technologies, with mentorship and support from experienced teammates.
- Occasionally support hardware system configuration and build-out, gaining exposure to full system integration.
This opportunity is ideal for developers who thrive on solving complex problems, want to expand their technical expertise, and are motivated by work that directly supports the U.S. Navy’s operational readiness.
Primary Responsibilities

- Make informed decisions even with limited information in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Recognize when to adapt or pivot during implementation to ensure the best technical and mission outcomes.
- Drive process improvements and introduce innovative workflows that enhance team performance.
- Influence positive change through collaboration, initiative, and technical leadership.
- Balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to urgent or shifting requirements.
- Communicate clearly across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Apply agile best practices to deliver high-quality, iterative results that make an impact.

At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.”
If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
