The Statistician II will support process development projects by applying statistical design and analysis to optimize experimental outcomes. This role is highly collaborative, involving close interaction with process scientists and engineers to design studies, analyze data, and report results that support process characterization and product development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in statistical methodologies and hands-on experience using JMP, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop study designs (Design of Experiments, DOE), perform statistical analysis, and generate reports using in-house developed JMP tools for fast-paced, critical path projects.
- Participate in process characterization teams to understand experimental requirements and constraints, and design appropriate study experiments.
- Collaborate closely with process scientists and engineers to discuss study design, execution, and interpretation of results.
- Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to support experimental findings and decision-making.
- Work with process teams to complete and finalize study reports, ensuring clarity and scientific accuracy.
- Communicate effectively across teams using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and email, ensuring alignment and project transparency.
- Maintain proactive communication and regular dialogue with team members to ensure effective coordination of project activities.
