About Your Role
Join the Clover team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our mobile payment platform! As an SDET with Android expertise, you'll work closely with engineers and product owners to find and resolve defects, ensuring the reliability and high performance of the Android applications used by hundreds of thousands of merchants daily. You'll be central to maintaining the overall quality of a system that is the backbone of millions of daily payment interactions.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with our product and development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies for our Android applications across various devices and OS versions.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Android test automation using Espresso and UI Automator to streamline our testing process and boost efficiency.
- Conduct thorough manual testing and regression testing to validate software updates, identify defects, and ensure flawless application functionality.
- Document and track defects in Jira, providing detailed reports to developers to ensure efficient bug resolution.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our testing methodologies and stay current with industry best practices and technologies.

Experience You'll Need to Have:
- 7+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and/or Software Development, preferably with mobile applications.
- 5+ years of programming or scripting experience in languages such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or Python.
- 5+ years of experience developing Android test automation using Espresso and/or UI Automator.
- Proficiency using essential Android testing tools, including ADB, DDMS, Monkey, and Memory Analyzer.
- Proven ability to test REST API calls and write SQL queries.
- Experience utilizing test case management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ALM, or MTM.
Experience That Would Be Great to Have:
- Prior experience in Fintech, Point-of-Sale (POS), or Payments.
- Familiarity with networking and/or security concepts.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
