Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyzes program activities such as acquisition program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis, management techniques, documentation requirements, or network analysis
- Exhibits capability in areas of production planning documents, preparing and utilizing databases for cost analysis and financial management and maintenance of program security requirements in cognizance with ongoing program changes.
- Compiles and reviews budgets against actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and other data sources to control budgets and provide for proper financial decisions.
- Aids in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives safely and within agreed time, cost, technical, quality and other performance criteria.
- Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program Participates in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
- Assists with preparing performance work statements, statements of work, statement of understanding, technical direction orders, logistics/technical estimates, technical evaluations, market research and cost analysis.
- Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory/ compliance issues; recommends process, product or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems Assists with long range planning activities that include multi-year work plans.
- Engages with existing and potential customers to gain additional business.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Organizational Leadership or a related field, and 15 years of work experience in Program Management, Government, or a combination of the like. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must have PMP certification
- Candidate must be able to support a work schedule onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Army customers
- Experience in working / managing at the Battalion level staff (or higher) in the Army
