What does a successful Credit Risk Analyst do?
You will be committed to ensuring the quality and integrity of incoming merchant processing applications. You will track and monitor the applications through the underwriting process, to ensure they are handled within SLAs.
What you will do:
- Review incoming merchant processing applications and assess for decision.
- Track and monitor incoming applications through the underwriting process to ensure processing within SLA.
- Verify quality standards of all applications.
- Utilize 3rd Party resources to verify business operations and demographics.
- Communicate with sales partners, merchants, and processors to resolve Risk/Underwriting inquiries or issues.
- Review application documentation and reports to assess credit risk exposure to CardConnect and make sound decisions.
- Assist with short and long-term projects as assigned.
What you will need to have:
- 1 year of experience with credit reporting (individual and business).
- 2 years of experience in a client facing role.
What would be great to have:
- 1 year of experience in merchant processing industry or financial industry.
- Bachelor’s degree at an accredited university and/or equivalent military experience.
- Knowledge of Card Brand rules and regulations with 1 year of experience.
