About your role:
As a Director, Product Sales you will set the strategic direction and lead execution for product sales across the western territory to expand merchant portfolios and deepen client relationships. You will manage a regional sales team, align go-to-market plans with product development, and drive revenue growth and market share for Fiserv in the CFI West region.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of product sales and existing client initiatives for the CFI West territory.
- Manage, mentor, and develop Sales Executives into high-performing contributors through coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Identify and capitalize on market and channel opportunities to expand merchant portfolios and product reach.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations to align product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive retention and expansion.
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, P&L and territory performance metrics to meet revenue targets.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, enablement, and lead generation to support scalable growth.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise product sales and regional sales for financial institutions, driving merchant portfolio growth and territory revenue.
- 2+ years of experience leading sales executives, including coaching, performance management, and developing teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with merchant acquiring and payment processing platforms and POS/integration technologies.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms and analytics
- Experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, and P&L/territory financial management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Direct experience designing and scaling channel partner or reseller programs for payments and merchant services.
- History of presenting sales strategy and performance to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
- Prior work with merchant risk, chargeback mitigation, or value-added services (POS integrations, loyalty solutions).
- Experience with stakeholder management and executive communication within large, matrixed organizations.
Travel:
- Approximately 50% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
