Description:This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Fort Worth, TX. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.
The candidate will work in an industry consortium to develop a government reference architecture for Mission Systems autonomy software.
The candidate will work on a team developing software autonomy solutions for items such as UAV contingency management.
The candidate will use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop an architecture for future systems that complies with the required standards.
The candidate will work in a dynamic environment requiring consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an Engineering discipline: Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree in Computer Science or Software
Comprehensive understanding in systems engineering principles or closely related engineering discipline
Experience with MBSE processes, principles, and tools to develop practical solutions to a range of complex problems
Demonstrate effective listening and communication skills while thriving in cross functional, cross industry team environments
Must be a US Citizen, must have or be able to obtain a final secret clearance
Desired Skills:Experience with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud
Understanding of MBSE Languages and Frameworks: SysML, DoDAF, UPDM, UAF
Experience in developing processes, procedures, and other complex formal technical documentation
Experience in applying Systems Engineering to Mission Systems and Ground System software development
Experience developing UAV / Drone vehicles
Air Vehicle Mission Systems experience
Ground Station experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
