Role Description
Want to help make a difference in our community? Support nonprofit partners and small businesses working to advance digital opportunity and economic mobility? Whether it’s researching potential partners, benchmarking best practices in grantmaking, or developing materials, your analytical skills, attention-to-detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks will be invaluable to driving meaningful change. In addition to supporting the partnerships & grantmaking functions, this co-op will support a key program supporting small businesses across the country, Comcast RISE. As such, you may be engaged in items such as process improvement, analysis, reporting and execution of the small business recipient awards. One day you might be presenting customer satisfaction results to senior leaders, and the next day you might be helping us craft an internal marketing campaign! As part of the Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy Team, the co-op will be exposed to a fast-paced, start-up like environment where all of us wear multiple hats and jump in where needed. Having someone with project management skills who can handle several tasks/guidance from multiple sources will add value to the team and be ready to make an impact.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support team projects to drive process improvement.
- Manage ongoing projects to ensure timely deliverables and completion.
- Facilitate follow-up required for grants and sponsorships, including data tracking and reconciliation.
- Assist in the development of grantmaking trainings for Community Impact team members.
- Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to support the grantmaking strategy.
- Collaborate with the employee engagement team to ensure local and national partnerships are leveraged for employee engagement.
- Managing the tNPS 2.0 process: Ensuring the timely delivery of recurring recipient satisfaction surveys, developing dashboards and automated reporting, analyzing trends to identify and recommend areas of opportunity, presenting results to leadership.
- Managing the Comcast RISE brand and asset repository: Ensuring that the RISE asset library has the latest videos and collateral. Archiving and tagging all assets. Creating a file system and naming convention to organize the assets.
- Collaborate with the communications team to update internal and external stakeholders regarding Strategic Partnerships’ programs and initiatives.
- Represent Impact & Inclusion at events, meetings, and other activities as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency using all programs within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Experience conducting research or familiarity with nonprofits
- Project management skills, ability to balance multiple initiatives at the same time
- Curious about business operations and how large-scale programs operate behind-the-scenes
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Preferred Majors: Communications, Marketing, Management, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, General Business, or Business Administration
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
