The Senior Analyst, Social Intelligence transforms social data into strategic insights that inform Hilton's brand, marketing, and customer experience decisions. This role influences business outcomes across our global hospitality portfolio by identifying emerging trends, uncovering guest sentiment, and inspiring culturally relevant content.
We're looking for a data-driven storyteller who lives and breathes social media—someone who's creatively inspired by culture and energized by the opportunity to turn online conversations into meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate is fluent in social listening platforms and analytics tools and thrives on uncovering the “why” behind the data. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Social Intelligence.

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
- Monitor and analyze social conversations across platforms to identify emerging trends, guest sentiment, competitive activity, and cultural moments relevant to Hilton's brands.
- Build dashboards and develop scalable processes that make social listening insights actionable across teams.
- Refine listening queries and real-time alerts to align with business priorities, brand objectives, and reputational considerations.
- Contribute to weekly social intelligence reporting by synthesizing platform data, cultural signals, competitive activity, and brand mentions into digestible insights that inform cross-functional decision-making.
- Stay immersed in social media—spending time on platforms to understand evolving behaviors, content formats, and community dynamics.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
- Partner closely with the Social and Influencer Marketing teams to infuse insights that drive authentic community engagement and culturally relevant content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights through recurring reporting and ad-hoc analyses that inform strategic decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with Brand, Loyalty, Communications, and Customer Insights teams to inform campaign planning, content development, and real-time decision-making. You'll play a key role in helping teams proactively manage brand reputation by surfacing emerging risks, sentiment shifts, and cultural dynamics that could impact perception.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to evaluate social media performance, define key metrics, and articulate the business impact of social engagement.
- Serve as a consultative partner to internal stakeholders, helping them understand how social intelligence can inform decision-making and strategy.
What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of
- Lead the development of social listening frameworks and methodologies that support Hilton's global brand and marketing initiatives.
- Own deep-dive analyses on key topics such as brand health, competitive positioning, and audience behavior.
- Deliver relevant competitive and industry intelligence by tracking peer brands, hospitality trends, and cultural shifts that influence guest expectations and brand perception.
- Explore and apply emerging techniques in social analytics—including AI and machine learning—to enhance insight generation.
- Drive integration of insights across multiple social platforms, including video-first and limited-access environments, to ensure a holistic view of the social landscape.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
- Three (3) years of professional experience in an analytics, research, or insights role
- Proficiency with social listening tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker) to build queries, categories, tags, and dashboards
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and transforming complex, high-volume data into clear visualizations and dashboards—accomplished at turning data into compelling stories for non-technical audiences and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with social media platforms, trends, and best practices across both established and emerging channels
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days/week in office) in Dallas, TX or McLean, VA
It Would Be Useful If You Have
- Bachelor's degree in market research, analytics, economics, engineering or a related field
- Experience with competitive and industry intelligence reporting
- Experience partnering with marketing teams to inform content strategy, campaign performance, and community engagement
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in social analytics
