About your role:
You will join a program management organization at Fiserv that delivers enterprise payments and financial services solutions to banks, merchants, and fintech partners. This Program Manager will oversee multiple, interdependent programs and align delivery across Berkeley Heights, Frisco (Texas), and Alpharetta. The role focuses on driving portfolio outcomes, operational scalability, and regulatory/compliance adherence while partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Define and oversee program governance, roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria for multi-team initiatives.
- Drive coordination across engineering, product, security, operations, QA, and third‑party vendors to remove impediments and manage cross-program dependencies.
- Establish and manage program-level risk, issue, and change-control processes; implement mitigation and escalation strategies.
- Lead program financials including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and portfolio reporting to senior leadership.
- Facilitate scaled-Agile practices and Program Increment planning; align teams on delivery cadence and release strategies.
- Ensure program deliverables meet security, regulatory, and testing requirements for payments and financial services.
- Develop vendor management and contract oversight practices, including SLAs and integration governance.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in leading large-scale, complex enterprise programs and program governance, including scaled-Agile/SAFe implementations.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud strategy and enterprise cloud delivery (AWS, Azure) and cloud migration planning.
- 8+ years of experience implementing security and regulatory compliance frameworks for financial services (PCI DSS, SOC 2, SOX).
- 6+ years of experience in program financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio reporting (Excel, Adaptive Insights, Workday Planning).
- 6+ years of experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, and third-party integrations.
- 6+ years of experience with Agile tooling and delivery platforms (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and release coordination.
- 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- PgMP, PMP, or other program/project management certification.
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Agilist certification and hands-on PI planning experience.
- Direct experience with payments protocols and standards (NACHA, ISO 20022, card processing).
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms, APIs, and middleware used in payments ecosystems.
- Experience leading transformation, consolidation, or post-merger integration programs in financial services.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
Travel:
- Approximately 25% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
