Boeing Technology Innovation - Europe is seeking an Experienced R&T Portfolio Specialist to support the seamless execution and integration of BTIE’s research portfolio within Boeing’s global research organization. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining rigorous program management controls, and fostering effective communication across teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating with the technical managers to avoid budget overruns and secure timely project delivery, thereby contributing to the continuity of program management execution and supporting ongoing business-critical activities. This position requires both analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills to engage successfully with a variety of stakeholders across the organization.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options
Position Responsibilities
Program Management – Cost & Time Control
Ensure proper and timely budget allocation for projects, monitoring and controlling program budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
Support technical managers in managing financial forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis
Provide timely and accurate reporting on program cost and timeline performance
Program Management – Scope & Quality Control
Support the definition and tracking of project scope and deliverables, ensuring adherence to program objectives, milestones, and quality standards
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal procedures
Coordinate quality reviews and post-project evaluations
Technology Integrator Activities
Contribute to the integration of technology portfolios and collaboration tools
Support alignment of technical content across functions
Facilitate interactions between engineering teams and business operations for cross-functional consistency
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python)
Solid understanding of project lifecycle, budget management, and timeline tracking
Effective communicator with a proactive approach to solving problems
Rights to work in Spain
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), mathematics, data science, or computer science or related field
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
Experience in developing or supporting cloud-based and on-premises tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops) or websites
Background in aerospace, R&D, or technology integration environments
Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement systems
Key Competencies

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills across diverse teams
Collaboration: Experience working in matrixed, international environments
