Boeing is seeking an Associate Supplier Quality Specialist to work in Boeing Global Services located in San Antonio, Texas.
The Quality Specialist will support the San Antonio site sustainment programs, including C-17 and F-15. Quality specialist support all phases of the development life-cycle for hardware including the supply base from inception to post-delivery.
Position Responsibilities:
Review contractual requirements and supplier's statement of work
Integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation
Review supplier purchase contracts for completeness and accuracy
Manage site quality-clauses / quality contractual requirements for suppliers
Engage in Early Quality Improvement efforts with suppliers
Develop quality metrics and quality plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements
Perform supplier performance improvement efforts
Root cause corrective action
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years with product management experience and/or technical problem solving skills
1+ years of purchasing experience (e.g. issuing Requests for Proposal, evaluating bids, placing Purchase Orders, paying invoices)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous work experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or another highly regulated industry
Quality Planning / Quality Requirements / Q-Clause experience
Supplier Performance Improvement
Previous experience in Quality
Previous experience with contractual reviews and planning

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $67,150.00 - $90,850.00
