About your role:
- You will join a cross-functional analytics team that transforms transaction and operations data into actionable insights to support product, risk, and finance decisions at Fiserv. The role focuses on building and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency. You will partner with stakeholders to surface trends, enable data-driven decisions, and scale reporting solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and data visualizations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective data models and visualizations.
- Design and implement robust data models in Power BI.
- Create automated reporting solutions and scheduled dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and performance improvements.
- Optimize reports and dashboards for query and rendering performance, including DAX optimization and efficient data sourcing.
- Use SQL to query databases, extract data, and perform advanced data analysis to support reporting initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in Power BI report and dashboard development, including data model design and performance optimization.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL for complex querying, data extraction, joins, window functions, and query optimization
- 4+ years of experience in data modeling and dimensional modeling for analytics and BI semantic layers.
- 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with additional visualization platforms such as Tableau in multi-tool environments.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices for BI artifacts
- Experience tuning databases and optimizing analytic query performance.
- Stakeholder management and experience presenting analytics to business leaders and executives.
- Experience in financial services, payments, or regulatory reporting environments.
- Experience in Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
