About your role:
Join the Clover team as an SDET System Integration Tester for Android, and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our full-stack Point of Sale system, with a focus on our Android devices. Clover is an end-to-end solution that processes millions of daily transactions for merchants, and your primary responsibility will be meticulous manual testing to ensure a flawless customer experience. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to our automation efforts as we continue to grow.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze product requirements and collaborate with the feature-focused squad to create accurate test cases and define clear acceptance criteria.
- Execute a wide range of testing, including integration, system, feature interaction, stress, performance, and carrier validation testing on various network types 2G/3G/Wi-fi networks.
- Find and validate specifications using black box techniques (like test matrices and risk analysis) and gray box techniques (like database querying).
- Work efficiently across all functional areas of our Android and web-based products, completing test cycles in one- to two-week releases with limited supervision.
- Engage as the voice of the customer to ensure high-quality deliveries and communicate testing progress by creating and maintaining test plans.
- Contribute to areas beyond application testing, including automation, platform, or internationalization and localization efforts.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in software testing, preferably across both Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong in Manual testing on Android Devices.
- Proficiency in black box testing techniques, including Functionality and User Flow testing.
- Experience with Android tools such as ADB, DDMS, Monkey, and Memory Analyzer.
- Experience with Web testing and database querying.
- Practical understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or shell scripting.
- Experience utilizing defect tracking tools, Jenkins, and Git.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
