Position Description:
The Manufacturing Operator is a member of the Manufacturing Department responsible to perform manufacturing activities at Juncos and Humacao sites in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible to perform manufacturing activities and in-process inspections, following CGMP and the approved commercial manufacturing batch records.
Responsible for the cleaning of the manufacturing areas and equipment.
Primary Objectives:
Warranty the quality attribute of the manufactured products by ensuring throughout the manufacturing operations compliance with CGMP’s.
Specific Responsibilities:
 - Perform the cleaning of the areas and equipment upon completion of the the manufacturing activities.
- Perform the clearance of the areas before entering a new product for processing.
- Maintain areas clean, organized and identified.
- Perform the manufacturing activities according to the approved batch records.
- Perform the in-process inspections according to standar operating procedures.
- Segregate product for rejection as in-process waste.
- Batch record reconciliation.
- Proper handling and documentation of controlled substances
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Knowledge in GMP regulations
o Knowledge in GDP
o Read and understand written instructions in English
o Capable to identify deficiencies in documents and processes
o Able to work standing up and in continuous movement through the assigned areas about 80% of the time
o Capable to handle materials with weight over 25 pound (when needed)
o Ability to perform and handle various activities
o Work under pressure
o Team work
