MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented
Data Analyst to join our team in
Washington, D.C. This will be a
hybrid position requiring up to 3 days in-office per week.
This role supports energy data analytics for the U.S. Navy by enabling data-driven decisions through modern visualization, statistical analysis, and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Develop and implement the end-to-end data architecture and tooling ecosystems required to centralize, process, and analyze complex U.S. Navy energy consumption data
- Define software tool architecture and data flows between software tools to support analysis of energy use in the U.S. Navy
- Analyze solution space to data flow paths and techniques, using this analysis to make recommendations for optimum technical approaches and solutions
- Apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling skills to manage and manipulate complex, high-volume data from a variety of sources
- Build reporting tools and data visualization dashboards
- Clearly present technical findings to customers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Data Analyst
- 1+ years of experience using SQL
- 1+ years of experience using Databricks
- 1+ years of experience using scripting with analytical programming languages such as Python or R
- 1+ years of experience building data visualizations and results using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S. Navy computer infrastructure
- Experience working with DoD Advana/Jupiter
- Experience working with Power Query
- Experience working with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Experience working in a SCIF
Clearance Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active interim Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
