In this role, you will:- Act as a player coach and as such also will be responsible for the direct management of 5-10 strategic client relationships
- Manage and develop other managers and professionals in Commercial Banking on the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderate to high complexity and risk cash flow and real estate loans and certain other industry specific solutions including leading the analysis of financials, presentations to clients, and coordination with cross functional stakeholders, internal partners and other functions affected by outcomes
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development across Commercial Banking Relationship Management
- Lead Mid-Corporate relationship management team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables; interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership, represent the company externally, and strategically lead all levels across the enterprise, to resolve internal escalations, including significant and complex client issues, while achieving Wells Fargo's business objectives
- Strategically lead team to offer the full suite of solutions to meet Mid-Corporate clients' needs, by developing best practices to engage product organizations and understand clients' businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
- Strategically lead team in driving relationship planning activities and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, by keeping information current in relevant systems such as Customer Relationship Management systems
- Manage, develop, and lead teams to cultivate existing relationships and source new Mid-Corporate clients, focused on building long-term, profitable relationships through strategic leadership, excellent product knowledge, flawless deal execution, and superior customer service
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership and expertise on client and market needs, leading to the identification and development of significant cross-functional process improvements and risk control developments
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives for multiple areas; develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy and serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 79 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Completion of formal credit training program
- Commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Mid-Corp segment
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
- Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. - This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
