What does a successful Strategic Account Manager do?
As a Strategic Account Manager at Fiserv, you will own several of the key operational and project-related management responsibilities for large strategic financial institutions across many financial technology products. Your role will be to gain a deep understanding of the key strategic and operational objectives/issues and partner across Fiserv to drive resolution by actively managing and delivering solutions to address needs. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, retention, support of contract revenue growth and renewals, and identifying opportunities to solve client needs through the relationships established with the client.
What you will do:
Serve as a point of contact and information resource to clients, sales support, and management regarding ongoing operations.
Support relationship managers with internal reporting and account activities (e.g., Account Plans).
Coordinate with Sales Operations to develop and execute effective processes to support accounts.
Develop and implement effective strategies and processes to resolve client issues in an effective and timely manner.
Establish and leverage strong internal relationships and networks across Fiserv to effectively influence and lead internal projects that require driving action from associates across the business.
Lead critical initiatives including, but not limited to, external projects, incident response, process improvement, and developing/maintaining standard operating procedures.
Maintain industry and product knowledge, an understanding of customers’ needs and concerns while continuously promoting a positive company image.
What you will need to have:
6+ years of account management, client relationship management and/or related experience
Experience working with large external partners and/or clients and managing internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
Experience in Payment Solutions, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Important info about this role:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding
Approximately 25% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
