About your role:
Fiserv is a global leader in payments and financial services technology, enabling clients to move money and information securely and at scale. You will lead a Quality Engineering team in Alpharetta focused on ensuring reliable, compliant, and high-performance delivery of payments and financial applications. The role partners with product, engineering, and operations to accelerate quality-driven releases.
What you’ll do:
- Build and own the QA strategy and execution for multiple product streams, driving automation, risk-based testing, and continuous improvement.
- Hire, mentor, and develop quality engineering managers and engineers; set objectives, performance expectations, and career growth plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes; ensure test environments and data are available and representative.
- Establish metrics and reporting for test coverage, defect trends, release readiness, and post-release quality; translate metrics into actionable roadmaps.
- Lead coordination of security, compliance, and audit testing activities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage vendor and third-party testing relationships and ensure contractual SLAs for test delivery and quality.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in designing enterprise automation frameworks and test architecture for large-scale applications.
- 10+ years of experience in Java and Python programming for automation framework and test development.
- 10+ years of experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD workflows.
- 8+ years of experience testing applications across web, API, mobile/desktop, and mainframe interfaces using Selenium, Appium, Postman Enterprise, and REST-assured.
- 8+ years of experience setting up and executing automation scripts in both on-premise and AWS cloud-based test environments, including containerized execution (Docker, Kubernetes).
- 6+ years of experience with Jira, test management tools (Xray/Zephyr), relational databases and SQL for test-data management.
- 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) for throughput and scalability validation.
- Practical knowledge of payments standards and protocols (NACHA, ISO 20022).
- Experience with test data virtualization or masking tools (e.g., Delphix) and secure test-data practices for regulated environments.
- Experience leading distributed teams across U.S. and India and working with offshore delivery models.
- Familiarity with security and compliance testing for financial services (PCI DSS, SOC 2).
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
