In this role, you will:- Lead all aspects of branch analytics in alignment with Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) priorities, focusing on customer growth, retention, satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Enable strategic workforce initiatives, including staffing level optimization, scenario modeling, and resource allocation, to enhance efficiency and elevate customer experience across the national branch network.
- Translate complex analytics into executive-level insights, crafting compelling narratives and presentations for senior stakeholders-including the Head of Branch Strategy, Head of National Branch Banking, and CEO of CSBB-to influence strategic direction and investment decisions.
- Deliver advanced analytics solutions-including predictive modeling, machine learning, segmentation, and optimization- in partnership with the AI/ML team to address key challenges in branch performance, staffing, workforce management, and customer engagement.
- Lead and grow a high-impact team of data scientists, analysts, and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Partner cross-functionally with technology, product, and operations teams to embed analytics into core platforms and business processes, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for branch operations, leveraging data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights across diverse audiences.
- Champion data governance and ethical data use, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and financial services, with a focus on branch analytics, workforce management, and customer experience.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, academic institutions, and industry groups to advance analytics capabilities and attract top-tier talent.

- Strategy consulting background preferred, ideally with experience at a top-tier firm (e.g., BCG, McKinsey), combined with deep exposure to retail banking and large financial institutions.
- Advanced technical proficiency, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis, with hands-on experience in Python, R, or Scala, and familiarity with big data and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for executive audiences, including C-level stakeholders and national branch leadership.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CCAR, CCPA) relevant to consumer and small business banking
