Boeing Australia is currently seeking to recruit a Total Rewards Senior Specialist to be based in Brisbane or Melbourne. The role will be hybrid or onsite, depending on location.
This role will be responsible to design, develop, maintain and administer compensation and benefits programs, policies, processes and systems as needed, ensuring locally competitive and compliant programs that meet business objectives. This role supports Australia and New Zealand.
The role will be initially focused on pay practice initiatives and longer term will work across the spectrum of compensation and benefits.
This role requires some domestic and international travel and regular participation in international calls/meetings which may occur outside of standard business hours.
About the Role:
- Lead the development and implementation of Pay Practices for entities in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with internal policies and statutory requirements
- Establish and document processes for ongoing maintenance of Pay Practices
- Proactively maintain, draft and coordinate new and updated Policies/ Pay Practices documentation. Provide interpretation on Policies/ Pay practices as required.
- Participate in internal governance and change management processes
- Document Statement of Work for vendors and support RFP processes for new vendors
- Establish implementation schedules and coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Payroll, Communications, HR, Legal, Timekeeping) to implement domestic benefit changes
- Support the ongoing development and delivery of compensation and benefit programs, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, research and data collation to support compensation and benefit projects
- Recommend benefit plan design changes and/or changes to benefit policies and procedures
- Educate and communicate on compensation and benefit matters
- Coordinate compensation approvals, deviations or changes
- Participate in local/international project teams with cross-functional representation as required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Strong excel skills, with experience in data analysis
- Strong knowledge of remuneration frameworks and experience in ensuring compliance with legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell stories with data and translate technical data into business outcomes
- Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional and non co-located teams
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with Australian work rights
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business/Human Resources/Arts/Finance or similar
- Experience in contributing to the development, communication or administration of compensation and/or benefit programs
- Experience in developing pay practice documentation
- Experience in participating in internal compensation governance and change management processes
- Experience in working with brokers, benefit providers or other vendors
- Experience in a role that required project management skills
- Experience in rolling out new programs or changes to existing programs
