Logistics Management is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials along the Supply Chain. This includes the flow of (raw) material to the JDMs /DCs, liaising with the distribution centers and overseeing shipments of finished products to our customers; as well as all reverse logistics flows (DOA, RMA and repair & return).
Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote) in a local office. Work location can be at one of these sites: Lincolnshire, IL, Kenosha, WI, or Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Develop regional strategy for business development, supply chain network for transportation, cost reductions, and support needs
- Manage the transportation team including coaching and development, workload allocations and balancing, and new hiring
- Responsible for developing and managing budgets, spend forecasts and savings plans for NALA
- Manage carrier and vendor performance including scorecard development, root cause analysis and correction, establishment of metrics and key deliverables
- Operate as key liaison between Zebra DC's and Zebra's transportation providers
- Support Zebra's reverse logistics network for Repair Services, Repair Operations, ZISP/ZASP's, and DOA's to ensure customer satisfaction
- Development and tools and support strategy for supply chain visibility for Zebra's internal and external customers including partners and Zebra's Supply Chain organization
- Provide local support and expertise for Zebra's DG shipping strategy within region
- Act as the global logistics representative for intercompany projects alongside Trade Compliance, Finance, Tax, Legal and other Supply Chain orgs including Planning and Procurement
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years' of experience
- High level of experience in working within an ERP system, ideally Oracle, and in managing TMS or freight manifest solutions
- Experience in the domestic transportation industry including parcel and over the road transportation modes
- Demonstrable experience in managing through metrics
- Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote) in a local office. Work location can be at one of these sites: Lincolnshire, IL, Kenosha, WI, or Austin, TX.
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience as team lead/supervisor experience encompassing technical, managerial, logistics and quality management
- Green Belt Certification and Lean Six Sigma with continuous improvement experience
- Track record of success in identifying best in class operations efficiencies and supply chain network changes for cost reductions or service improvements
- Experience in managing a culturally diverse team
- Foundation of analytical expertise
- Strong experience working within a warehouse environment or in a close working environment with warehouse teams
- High level experience in project management
- Strong collaborative leadership skills and ability to work well with other functional areas of IT, Finance, Sales, and Account Management with frequent direct customer interface
- Highly driven, fact based and results oriented with a strong track record in leading, aligning and managing teams against high performance objectives
- Intermediate or higher competency with Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: USD 106800.00 - USD 160200.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
