About The Position:

The HP Enterprise AI & Machine Learning team is at the center of this transformation, driving improved business outcomes by developing and deploying new AIML tools and digital products, and using data to drive key insights.
We are looking for a strategic leader and AI practitioner to lead our AI data science teams. The new Director of AI will be responsible for all aspects of AI model development from scoping through deployment, and will work closely with product, data, and business partners to identify opportunities and define and deliver AI-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and grow teams of customer-focused data scientists.
- Build and staff a portfolio of high-impact AI projects that deliver clear value for the company
- Envision, drive, and deliver innovative AI-based models and products that drive significant improvements in revenue, profitability, and operating costs.
- Build effective partnerships with technical and product leaders and business stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Technical Program Managers, Architects, HP product groups, and experts to envision, drive, and deliver innovative, compelling, and quality solutions at speed and scale.
- Evangelize and teach AI concepts and best practices to business teams across HP
Experience and Skills Required:
- MS and/or PhD related to AI, machine learning, and/or statistical modeling
- 10+ years of experience with modeling and analytics, including GenAI
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong communication and influence skills
- Experience with digital product design and process transformation are a plus.

The pay range for this role is $158,650 to $254,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
