Job Summary:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Finance Analyst for its RHVAC Product Management team. The Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting Residential HVAC financial reporting and analysis for price, volume, product mix, and market reporting. This role is a business partner to the RHVAC Product Management & Pricing team, contributing to month-end reporting and analysis, forecast mix, and market reporting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business fundamentals and possess strong analysis skills. The candidate should be able to effectively integrate and consolidate business results from multiple information sources and have strong data management competencies.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly SIOP reviews and provide market insights support to the product management teams.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting related to market eligible products to assist in understanding the RHVAC share position in the market
- Develop tools and enhancements to market modeling to provide enhanced business insights
- Assist Product Management team in management of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting and forecasting as needed
- Prepare for and assist in conducting monthly business reviews with leadership teams
- Leverage analytics to drive Finance transformation and greater business insights
- Flexible financial business partnering activities dependent on the needs of our partners
- Drive financial excellence through strong controllership, continuous improvement, and standard work in processes as it relates to general accounting activities (revenue recognition, standard cost, capitalized variances, project accruals, asset capitalization)
- Increase productivity by developing, automating, and organizing reporting effectively across the function.
- Develop routine and ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance, economics, or related field
- Must demonstrate high personal integrity and ethics
- Experience in Tableau, Dataiku, Oracle, and OneStream a plus
- Analytical and financial modelling skills
- High level of learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and focus on continuous improvement
Key Competencies:
- Solid financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and provide succinct themes and trends to team members at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborative team player with process improvement mind set
- Strong organization and time management skills; able to handle several assignments at one time while working in a matrix organization
- Willingness to learn new processes while enhancing current reporting.
- Excellent communication skills
Base Pay Range: $65,000-80,000
