What does a successful Inventory Control Associate do at Fiserv?
You will join the Shoreview team and be trained on how to understand and utilize the inventory data collected. You will be responsible for tracking inventory usage as well as coordinating replenishments of the production floor. You will do quality checks of incoming stock for production to ensure its order accuracy before it goes to the warehouse.
What you will do:
- On the job paid training and work in a climate-controlled environment
- Working directly with inventory reporting and handling, using Excel
- Taking the lead on any issues involving inventory for the facility.
- Performing the physical count each month of the inventory between production and the warehouse for reporting.
- Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
What you need to have:
- 1 year inventory experience
- Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds
- Be able, as it is necessary, to climb, stretch, crouch, or kneel
What would be great to have:
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
- A team player that works well with others but can also work independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and time management
Important info about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
- Compensation for this roll is $20.00hr
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for 2nd shift
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
