Description 
 We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. This position, the individual will be responsible for construct, install, troubleshoot and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment. Will cut, bend, couple, and strap conduit. Cut wire and conduit to length. Install, repair, or replace switch boxes, light bulb, plug, socket, light fuses and extension cords. Disassemble motors, generators and other equipment in preparation for repair. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring for shield and grounding and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency. Use blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices. Work with large power distribution units (PDU's), DC rectifiers and installing raised flooring system installation and maintenance.
 Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment such as switch boxes, plug sockets, light bulbs, extension cords, and light fuses. 
- Cut, bend, couple, strap conduit; cut wire and conduit to length. 
- Disassemble and prepare motors, generators, and other equipment for repair. 
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and test circuits for shielding, grounding, safety, and efficiency. 
- Use blueprints, drawings, layouts, and schematics to guide installations and repairs. 
- Operate electrical hand tools and voltage/amperage measuring and recording devices. 
- Work with high-voltage equipment, large PDUs, DC rectifiers, and raised flooring systems. 
- Lead small construction projects from start to finish, including material estimation and coordination. 
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and procedures. 
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required 
- Ability to obtain a valid Electrician’s License within 1 year of employment 
- 3–5 years of experience in the electrical field. 
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
- Skilled in all facets of electrical work including high-lift operations. 
- Proficient with hand and power tools. 
- Strong understanding of EHS best practices in electrical work environments. 
- Excellent customer service orientation. 
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 35 lbs. 
- Ability to climb and work from ladders. 
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a Master or Journeyman Electrical License in Virginia. 
- Ability to interpret and execute work based on blueprints, drawings, and verbal/written instructions. 
- Skilled in generating material lists and managing project resources. 
- Experience in leading construction/electrical projects independently. 
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
- Highly organized with strong multitasking capabilities. 
- Experience with fiber optic testing and termination. 
- Welding certification. 
- Experience working on public sector or federally funded projects (e.g., schools, military bases, government buildings). 
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
