About Your Role
As a Data Conversion Testing Analyst on the Card Issuing team, you will work directly with new clients to convert their existing credit card portfolios onto Fiserv processing platforms. You will be a member of a team that performs the initial review of converting client’s data files, develop an extensive list of reports, and utilize custom tools to analyze the data, develop technical specifications for converting the data, present the specifications to the client, write the conversion programs and processes, and execute all testing and system loading processes.
What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for execution, troubleshooting and validation of functional unit and system testing across multiple conversion projects
- Work closely with the core project conversion teams to understand testing needs and establish the necessary testing plans and schedules
- Coordinate with development teams across the entire IT organization for specific requirements for testing each application/sub-system, understanding the testing requirements and necessary outcomes
- Execute testing and generation of production deliverables in an off-line environment based on project and client requirements
- Execute testing, troubleshooting and validation of system load processes to inject converted data files into the Fiserv UAT and Production systems
- Develop and execute the automation testing strategy and plan for production patching releases
- Review and identify testing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and transition to various available technologies
Experience you’ll need to have: 
- 5+ years of experience in COBOL and Mainframe applications, IBM JCL, and TSO/TPX
- 4+ years of testing experience in a mainframe environment with the ability to determine estimates of effort and impacts on a variety of solutions
- 4+ years of experience in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and SQL
- 4+ years of experience developing custom reports, as well as file processing, creation, and validation to meet client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Prior experience in converting to new processing platforms
- Experience in Credit Card Issuing, ideally with exposure to Optis production programs and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication on project status, issues, and risks
- Excellent time management skills to manage deliverables and provide support to multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working in a diverse environment
