About Your Role: 
Join the Clover Point of Sale team at Fiserv, building the front-end technology that powers millions of payments every day. This role requires you to architect and implement high-performance, scalable applications that improve merchant operations across our web and embedded UI experiences. You will be instrumental in shaping product outcomes and driving engineering standards across our global platform.
What you'll do:
- As a senior individual contributor, you'll be the one to architect, design, and develop our front-end applications, primarily using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- You'll take the lead on building reusable, modular, and scalable UI components using React and Next.js that directly impact our digital customer experiences.
- We'll look to you to raise the bar on engineering excellence by advocating for best practices, lean agile methodologies, and a DevOps mindset.
- You will actively collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that are aligned with our business objectives.
- You’ll mentor other engineers, helping them improve their technical and leadership skills while you contribute to the technical roadmap and overall strategy of our team.

Experience you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, delivering, and supporting large-scale web applications.
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, along with strong knowledge of modern web tools like Webpack.
- Proficiency with multithreading, concurrency models, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience identifying technical requirements, assisting in project planning, and serving as a technical expert for code modules or subsystems.
- Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API development and best practices.
- Experience with cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Provider), web testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Jest), and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and experience writing SQL queries.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
