What does a great Senior Program Manager do at Fiserv?
A great Senior Program Manager leads client commitment projects with curiosity and clarity — turning stakeholder expectations into measurable delivery. You’ll design and drive end-to-end plans, coordinate across production, engineering, quality, procurement and technology, and keep both site leadership and executives informed with clear metrics. You care about practical outcomes: on-time installations, controlled spend, post-implementation learning, and vendor interactions that reduce risk and accelerate value for our clients and operations.
What you will do:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of client commitment projects, including maintaining a client commitment tracker and conducting post-implementation reviews.
- Build and manage project plans that define scope, timelines, budget controls, risk mitigation and success criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality, procurement, technology) and manage vendor engagement for timely, compliant installations and transitions.
- Monitor progress against KPIs and milestones; report status, forecast expenditures, and control project spend.
- Identify, escalate and mitigate project risks and issues, deploying contingency plans as needed.
- Communicate progress and escalations to site leadership and executive stakeholders; provide leadership to project teams. Limited travel may be required.
What You Will Need To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline — or equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
- PMP certification or a similar recognized project management certification.
- Demonstrated experience managing capital projects, process improvement efforts, or facility upgrades with documented outcomes.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Clarity or Jira for scheduling, tracking KPIs and budget control.
What Would Be Great To Have:
- Agile, Lean or Six Sigma certification(s).
