About your role:
The Server Support Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role supports both hardware and software components of servers and collaborates with IT teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and resolve server-related issues across Windows and Linux, including hardware failures, software bugs, and network connectivity problems.
- Respond to help desk requests and provide technical support to users.
- Maintain accurate records of server configurations and changes.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects.
- Support and enhance daily alert automation workflows
- Ensure documentation remains current and aligned with evolving processes and policies.
- Utilize tools such as Service Point, Moogsoft, SailPoint, Splunk, and App Map for ticketing, reporting, and change management.
Experience you’ll need to have: 
- 4+ years of experience in server support in an enterprise environment.
- 4+  years of experience with server monitoring tools and backup solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
- Associates degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, Linux+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
How you’ll work:

- This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
