About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Accountability Senior Lead to manage development and oversight of a new governance framework and change initiatives related to promotional advertisements and practices for the Consumer and Small Business Banking Marketing division. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Compliance, and Risk, ensuring all promotional offer campaigns meet operational, compliance, and risk standards to support responsible growth for the Consumer and Small Business Bank.
The role will lead a new governance structure to strengthen end-to-end implementation of promotional offers, reduce risk, and enhance both customer and banker experiences. It will also drive marketing efficiency by streamlining campaign processes and controls across CSBB and other lines of business (e.g., Card, Mortgage Marketing) through dedicated cross-functional initiatives. You will indirectly lead a complex team spanning Marketing, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Branch, Product, and other key partners.

In this role, you will:- Establishing a governance framework for promotional offers
- Leading monthly Offer Council meetings across complex, cross-functional stakeholder group
- Lead change initiatives for offer governance, including the development, execution, and sustainment of change management plans, readiness assessments, and after-action reviews
- Serve as incident owner for offer-related incidents, managing incidents throughout the incident management process and collaborating with execution, fulfillment, and readiness teams to ensure timely resolution
- Champion change management best practices by applying the Wells Fargo Change Management Lifecycle: Identify, Plan, Deliver, Sustain
- Aggregating performance and risk data to drive process improvements and optimization efforts
- Collaborating with execution, fulfillment, and readiness teams to enhance delivery
- Serving as SME for remediation and redress activities
- Streamline and standardize marketing campaign processes and controls across core consumer lines-of-businesses (Card, Retail, Mortgage, etc.) in partnership with a dedicated cross-functional team
- Foster a culture of accountability and integrity within the CSBB Marketing organization.
- Indirectly lead a cross-functional team across a compliance, risk, legal, controls, product, branch, etc., as well as peers in other marketing organizations (Card, Mortgage, etc.)
Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience in marketing, risk management, compliance, or internal controls, preferably in financial services or a highly regulated industry
- Strong understanding of marketing operations preferred
- Demonstrated success in implementing risk frameworks within cross-functional environments
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks, change management frameworks, policy frameworks, issue management frameworks
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proven record of attracting, retaining and developing top talent
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster partnerships across departments
