Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the IT division, supporting Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketing (HH) organizations as well as Enabling Functions. The EIT Strategic Initiatives team is responsible for driving future state objectives and the vision of the organization, by overseeing and coordinating the governance of key programs and initiatives.
The Enterprise IT Product Line Lead will collaborate with global business leaders within Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) to develop and evolve strategies and digital solutions to enable business transformation and operational excellence. This role will drive cross-functional activities and lead collaborative activities to support divisional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Fosters strategic partnership with GSMG business colleagues to align on the vision and strategy, translating business requirements into actionable technology solutions and intuitive user experiences
- Drive strategic digital solutions across end-to-end procurement experience in partnership with the Data, Strategy, & Insights (DS&I) organization to modernize and transform the organizational source-to-settle capabilities, including identifying and implementing automation and AI opportunities to optimize processes, enhance decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Design and continuously optimize the complete source-to-settle journey from requisition to payment, ensuring optimal experiences across all user personas including employees, buyers, suppliers, approvers, and procurement professionals
- Deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers across all digital touchpoints and interaction channels
- Cultivate strategic vendor partnership to leverage emerging platform capabilities, co-innovate on procurement solutions, and ensure the orchestration platform evolves to meet future organizational needs and industry best practices
- Partner with Risk & Compliance colleagues to enhance the supplier risk digital solutions and integrations, delivering improved user experiences and streamlined risk assessment processes
- Collaborate with EIT Product Line Leads and IT divisional leaders to synchronize activities, timelines, and dependencies and ensure alignment for key initiatives, such as Third Party Risk or Restrictive Party Screening
- Stays current with industry trends to drive an outside in approach and identify emerging focus areas and opportunities that can benefit from technology enablement.
- Enforces value realization activities are followed with prioritization of initiatives that maximize investment to achieve business outcomes
- Communicates strategy and facilitates buy-in to key business stakeholders for our digital innovation initiatives
- Works with the network of technology partners architects, and other IT divisions to align business priorities, identify synergies, and explore cross-divisional solutions opportunities
- Manages and coaches individuals consisting of direct reports, indirect reports, and external partners
- Acts as a credible change agent to align our investments and roadmaps with the overall business strategy
- Supports the management of the Value Team's portfolio of investments, including the development of business cases and follow-up on value realization
- Drives organizational change and cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Ensures financial and governance reporting, issues, risks, support, and status communication to all stakeholders is timely, complete, and accurate
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 10+ years of experience in working in large, complex IT projects
- Proven ability to collaborate and lead in a cross-functional environment to reach shared objectives
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional quantitative skills, including the ability to leverage data and metrics to guide investment decisions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in integrating, summarizing, and tailoring messages to different audiences, including senior leaders.
- Robust drive for results, supported by excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Curiosity to analyze and comprehend the drivers behind trends to stay innovative and up to date.
Preferred
- Experience or training with developing KPIs and OKRs in the product model
- Hands-on experience with product delivery and a proven track record of results
- Understanding and experience with business functions, such as Source to Settle, Supplier Management, Risk Management, Facilities Management, Site Security, Travel, Meetings, and Employee Expense

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$169,700.00 - $267,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
