About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Product Executive to lead the Payment Product Management function, with oversight of Payables, Receivables, and Cards. This role sits within the Global Payments & Liquidity and Wholesale Digital organization and plays a critical part in shaping the future of our global payment ecosystem. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, investment priorities, innovation, and delivery across multiple client segments-including Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Wells Fargo Business customers.
Strategic Focus Areas and 2026 Product Priorities- Lead the product investment agenda for Global Payments, aligning with the bank's 2026 strategic roadmap.
- Build on Wells Fargo's strong foundations in commercial banking solutions to scale capabilities for large corporate and multinational clients, focusing on enhanced cross-border functionality, industry specific solutions, and FX integration.
- Accelerate Wells Fargo's shift toward electronic payables and real-time disbursements, leveraging RTP, ACH, and next-generation payment rails to complement the bank's historical strength in receivables.
- Advance payable and receivable solutions that help attract and retain non-interest-bearing deposits and strengthen client engagement across digital channels.
- Drive innovation across priority industries, including:
- Healthcare, TMT, and Investment Banking portfolio companies - delivering specialized payable, receivable and card products and tools.
- Business-to-consumer disbursements - enabling digital wallet payouts through partnerships with Visa, The Clearing House, and fintech collaborators.
- Digital economy and high-volume payments - scaling real-time capabilities to support emerging platform models.
- North America integration (U.S. and Canada) - modernizing and unifying cross-border payments and liquidity experiences.
- Cross-border low-value payments - expanding access to 24/7 money movement, FX, and liquidity tools without expanding physical footprint.
- Act as a thought leader and public-facing advocate for Wells Fargo's payments innovation agenda, engaging in industry dialogue on future-state topics like tokenized payments and deposits, digital assets, and interoperable payment networks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Product Strategy & Vision- Define and lead the strategic roadmap for payment products, including Payables, Receivables, and card services.
- Align product vision with evolving client needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Champion innovation in areas such as real-time payments, cash flow forecasting, and digital liquidity tools.
Product Development & Delivery- Build and scale secure, client-centric solutions across payables and receivables, including reconciliation tools, specialty liquidity services, and card platforms.
- Ensure consistency and scalability of product offerings across diverse client segments.
Data-Driven Innovation- Use transaction data, behavioral insights, and market analytics to identify growth opportunities and inform product enhancements.
- Partner with engineering and digital teams to deliver data-informed, high-impact solutions.
Innovation- Combine deep knowledge of the payments landscape with strong strategic thinking, market foresight, to champion new ideas that shape the future of our transaction banking products and platforms.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including stablecoin, digital assets, and next-gen payments.
Stakeholder Leadership- Navigate a complex matrix of internal stakeholders, including coverage teams, risk, compliance, operations, and executive leadership.
- Drive alignment and adoption across the enterprise, ensuring successful product launches and sustained performance.
Required Qualifications:- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting, fintech, or treasury services.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams or managing senior-level talent.
- Deep expertise in global payment, receivables and card products
Preferred Qualifications:- Proven track record of designing and delivering innovative, client-centric payments solutions.
- Strong technical acumen and experience managing full product lifecycles and roadmaps.
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Agile mindset with a bias for action and iterative execution.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience managing risk and regulatory engagement in a financial services context.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$340,000.00 - $500,000.00
