Fraud Technical Lead

Who We’re Looking For
Toyota Financial Services is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Fraud Technical Lead
In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative fraud detection and prevention technologies that protect our customers and business. Reporting to the Risk Technology Domain Owner, you will play a key role in advancing Toyota Financial Services’ commitment to secure, trustworthy financial solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Imagine leading a dynamic team that stays ahead of evolving fraud threats by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data analytics. Success in this role means safeguarding millions of transactions while continuously enhancing fraud detection capabilities to minimize risk and maximize customer trust.
Own the design, development, and deployment of advanced fraud detection systems that proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, risk management, and business units to integrate fraud solutions seamlessly into operations.
Lead and mentor a team of fraud technology specialists, fostering innovation and professional growth.
Analyze emerging fraud trends and translate insights into strategic technology enhancements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
Partner with external vendors and stakeholders to evaluate and implement best-in-class fraud prevention tools.
Champion a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field that provides a strong foundation in technology and analytics.
5+ years of experience leading fraud technology initiatives or related cybersecurity roles where you’ve successfully managed complex projects.
Proven expertise in fraud detection technologies, data analytics, and risk mitigation strategies.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and guiding high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across diverse teams.
Hands-on experience with fraud management platforms, machine learning models, or similar technologies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Added Bonus If You Have
Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) that deepens your expertise in cybersecurity, data science, or financial services technology.
Additional years of experience in financial services, fraud prevention or technology leadership roles.
Specialized certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar credentials.
Experience with emerging technologies like AI-driven fraud detection or blockchain applications.
A passion for driving innovation that leads to measurable business impact and enhanced customer trust.
