About the Opportunity
The Kitting Operator reviews the Traveler for accuracy and prepares material for processes based on Traveler instructions, Lamination Lay-Up sheets and team leader directions.
What You'll Do:
- Reads and understands Traveler, SOPs and Lamination Lay-Up sheet
- Records and visually verifies material supplier, lot number, issue quantity on lot traveler and expiration date and records on the Material Log
- Verifies material certification with the Traveler
- Cuts and prepares material with appropriate paperwork to release to appropriate department
- Performs all other job tasks as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and understand documents such as standard operating procedure, Lamination Lay-Up sheet, Traveler instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Ability to work with strict deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented, efficient and organized
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in rigid, flex and rigid flex printed circuit and manufacturing industry (Preferred)
Please note that in addition to prolonged standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds; as well as repetitive hand motion.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime and Weekends as needed
