What does a successful Custom Product Consultant/Buyer do at Fiserv?
As a Custom Product Consultant/Buyer, you will ensure client support and satisfaction at a professional level. You will design and purchase customized products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client specifications. This role requires a professional phone presence, strong written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships over the phone.
What you will do:
- Communicate with all levels of client personnel to understand and meet their custom product needs.
- Coordinate with graphic designers to quote product options and provide proofs for client approval.
- Purchase products from external vendors, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Perform negotiations for major purchases and expedite items to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve purchasing problems by working with vendors, suppliers, and employees.
- Train and assist other team members as assigned.
- Handle confidential data with care and comply with all policies and procedures.
What you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in negotiation, procurement and purchasing technology and methodology.
- 3+ years of experience with database inquiry, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience in material management or a related field.
- Knowledge of secure card industry standards (Europay, Mastercard, & Visa preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.

Important information about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
- Compensation is $60-$70k yr
