Description:
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development, evaluation, review, and maintenance of all curriculum content, training materials, training modules and teaching aids including but not limited to incorporating new material into existing curriculum and implementing changes as derived from internal and external review boards. Ensure ARI’s curriculum meets emergent needs of the industries in which curriculum is designed while ensuring consistency of training at all branch locations. Implement and manage new or revised curriculum on company applications including but not limited to SharePoint (as applicable), Canvas and the Student Google Drive. Additionally, this position will oversee and work closely with entities that are contracted or licensed to build the ARI training simulator ensuring all UL 508 standards are met and maintained. Travel may be required to meet the operational needs of ARI.
Core Responsibilities
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Define and document learning objectives.
- Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.
- Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides and training manuals.
- Design content to optimize learning.
- Generate the layout of the learning supports.
- Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.
- Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools.
- Provide technical support for training equipment at all campuses.
- Provide oversite and support to contractors who are licensed to manufacture the ARI training simulator and ensure product meets all UL 508 specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring ARI UL 508 certification is current

- Properly interpret, produce, and articulate documents and reports with regards to curriculum, professional development, safety, operations, record keeping and procedures
- Perform office and computer work for extended periods of time with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, QuickBase, Canvas applications and the Student Google Drive.
Desired Skills and Knowledge
- Experience leading diverse teams and subcontractors
- Minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity
- Possesses familiarity with the scope and direction outlined in the ARI curriculum
- Previous success in an adult learning environment
Education and Certification Requirements
- Required: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Required: Valid driver license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) and/or background check
- Required: Legal ability to work in the United States.
- Required: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status,
- Required: UL 508 certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field like communication or education
