We are searching for the best talent for Quality Control Analyst to be based in Leiden.
This entry-to-developing contributor role supports the Quality Control function under close supervision, assisting with day-to-day lab activities, investigations, and data-driven improvements. You’ll contribute to sample management, reagent and supplies handling, and general housekeeping, helping the team maintain compliance and high-quality outcomes. This is a salaried role with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact within a supportive QC team!
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will:
- Manage day-to-day laboratory activities such as sample receipt and management, reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping to maintain an organized and compliant QC environment.
- Assist with analysis, qualification/validation activities, and laboratory investigations to support timely, robust quality decisions.
- Support data review and metrics reporting, contributing to quality performance insights and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, track and prioritize all facets of buying, installing and validating (new) lab equipment, including documentation and related financial requirements.
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications and systems, following Data Integrity standards, and drive process improvements through technology adoption.
- Adhere to compliance best practices, EHSS regulations, and lean principles, while applying Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day teamwork.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Entry-level / developing professional role, with supervision and guidance as you grow in Quality Control.
- Ability to assist with sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping in the laboratory.
- Willingness to perform testing of finished goods under supervision and participate in QC analyses.
- Ability to support data review and analysis, and help implement risk mitigations and continuous improvement initiatives under supervision.
- Collaboration-focused attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team and with cross-functional partners.
- Understanding and appreciation of Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives, along with awareness of EHSS regulations and lean principles.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 43,600 to 69.000 on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.
