Boeing Global Services has a current need for a Sr. Maintenance Engineer at our Fort Walton Beach, FL location or our Ridley Park, PA location.
Position Responsibilities:
- Mechanical, electrical, avionics and support equipment
- Analyze and evaluate engineering source data, vendor data, and customer data in order to design, prioritize, and develop technical data required to operate and maintain Cargo VL ( CH-47 & V-22) weapon systems
- Analyze and evaluate impact of engineering changes on technical data
- Develop and implement maintenance tasks, Trouble Shooting Procedures and Operational Checks.
- Read, interpret & analyze engineering data, tool lists, Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) data and supporting databases
- Solid understanding of the Vertical Lift – CH-47 & V-22 systems operation, Navy and Army maintenance concept
- Solid understanding of the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), the Publication Data authoring tool (PDAT) and Common authoring tool ( CAE )
- Working knowledge of V-22 Comprehensive Automated Maintenance Environment (CAMEO) and Electronic Troubleshooting Suite (ETS)
- Familiarity with Boeing Engineering and Product Support processes
- Assist with quality reviews and validations, conduct in-process reviews, and support verifications.
- Communicate complex technical information to personnel while interfacing optimally with team partners, Integrated Product Team (IPT) members, customers and cross-functional disciplines
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develops solutions that are imaginative, detailed, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
- Performs quality assurance assessments of technical data and support products
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering related field from an ABET accredited university plus the following:
- 9+ years of experience do you have in Avionics equipment
- 9+ years’ experience do you have with Quality Assurance or Technical Inspection
- Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 9+ years of experience do you have with rotorcraft maintenance
- 9+ years’ experience do you have in testing and troubleshooting aircraft Avionics systems, Automatic test Equipment, or missile systems
- 9+ years of experience do you have with Military Aircraft technical manuals and drawings
- 9+ years of experience do you have with analyzing and interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications
- 9+ years of experience or training do you have reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer
science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Pay Range:
Ft Walton Beach, FL - $127,800 - $156,200
Ridley Park, PA - $136,800 - $167,200
