Job Description:
The Planning Specialist is responsible for demand planning processes for specific portfolio within Medical Devices businesses in J&J SEA. The position is designed to deploy the overall strategy for demand and supply management to support the regional Supply Chain Strategy and meet the Company’s business needs; with regards to Demand Fulfillment, Customer Service and Cost. This is done via identifying drivers for demand and supply to effectively manage the forecasting process and provide input into IBP process for sound business decisions. He/ She will interface with the Sales and Marketing teams in Orthopedic business in SEA and with Regional Planning Team for the respective business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Business plans and Demand plans are aligned for respective BU units.
- Manage the business forecasts over 24-month horizon. Implements the recommended actions based on Demand Planning key performance indicators.
- Drive collaborative IBP process with distributor & Commercial team.
- Coordinate with Supply teams (Regional & Global supply teams) to ensure efficient product availability & managing overall customer service (OTIF-D).
- Improving service capability & drive MAPE initiatives for distributor.
- Work closely with SC Plan lead on streamlining SC Process (NPI & CAPEX) to drive efficiency in end-to-end Supply chain processes.
- Drive data analytics & Reporting for value creation towards business.
- Keep up to date on relevant Supply Chain technology and process trends within industry.
- Actively support Credo based behavior, corporate policy and ethics.
Qualification
- Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration
- 3-4 years of supply chain experience in MedTech, Healthcare industry
- System: SAP ERP, strong in Analytical skill, Problem Solving and PC literate, understanding of basic business finance, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as both a team player and a team leader, able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships, work successfully within a team environment, proactive team player, able to take charge and follow-through.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work and thrive in a multi-cultural environment, as well as an ability to work in a matrix environment are required. Having Flexibility and ability to adapt to an ever- changing supply chain environment and organization development driven.
