Description:You will be a Global Supply Chain Director for the Global Supply Chain Procurement and Subcontracts (GPS) team. Our team is responsible for acquiring and executing Build to Print (BTP) sheet metal and major and non major components that support the development, production, and sustainment demand streams across the business. We manage supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, and end to end supply chain execution to ensure on time, affordable, and high quality delivery to our programs.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Global Supply Chain Director you will be responsible for:
• Acquisition & execution of BTP and sub-system components – lead the sourcing, negotiation, and contract award.
• Strategic supplier management – develop and maintain relationships with sub suppliers, drive capability development, and oversee supplier performance to meet cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Program integration – collaborate with engineering, production, and sustainment teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier deliveries into the product flow.
• Pricing & affordability innovation – identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve product affordability while maintaining required quality standards.
• Contract execution & management – oversee the full contract life cycle for development, production, and sustainment demand streams, including proposals, negotiations, and compliance.
• Information & data management – ensure accurate supply chain data, reporting, and documentation are maintained for visibility and decision making.
• Leadership of the global procurement team – mentor and direct acquisition, planning, and execution staff, driving talent development and performance assessment.
• Strategic planning & risk mitigation – create and implement supply chain roadmaps, monitor risks, and develop mitigation plans to protect program schedules.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
• Leadership experience
• Program/project management skills
• Industry negotiation experience and customer interface
• Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and/or technical program performance and/or Earned Value Management
• Experience with program capture/proposal and/or material strategy development
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree with approximately 15 years of related leadership experience
• Experience in other disciplines or functions in addition to procurement
• Experience with systems such as MRP, LMAP, and SAP
• Experience leading large cross functional initiatives
• Understanding of a complex supply chain
• Ability to collaborate with peers
• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
