We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Support Team Member Senior to join our team in Marietta, GA, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence across production and business processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with teams in production planning and control, total quality management, material management, and process reengineering to drive success.
• Facilitate self-directed work teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
Process Optimization:
• Perform activities to enhance systems, manufacturing, and equipment/facility engineering, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Analyze production metrics and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
Training and Development:
• Provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, building a robust workforce capable of meeting production demands.
• Act as a mentor and guide for team members in need of technical or procedural support.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Interface with internal and external customers to resolve product planning challenges, address issues, and enhance processes.
• Support quality assurance initiatives to maintain the highest production standards.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with SFM, QualSight.
• Experience working in a Aircraft Maintenance or Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Experience in resolving engineering, planning, tooling and assembly problems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications.
Desired Skills:Demonstrated coaching and leadership tendencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in demonstrating and facilitating training in both classroom and shop environments.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to provide hands-on skill demonstrations for C-130 accessory and assembly installations.
• Experience reviewing work for consistency, correctness, and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Continuous mental and visual attention required to provide training and skill demonstrations for the installation, assembly and/or fabrication of C-130 accessories and assemblies. Check work of employees for consistency, correctness and quality.
Experience with DIMS, and EDW parts warehouse systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
