The WorkAs a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
• Plan and coordinate technical strategies for system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness across the entire product lifecycle.
• Conduct analyses at every phase—including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal—to ensure comprehensive system performance.
• Translate customer or product requirements into integrated system solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Analyze detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to convert requirements into precise hardware and software specifications.
Note: This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and has the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to start. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 or more years of systems engineer experience including requirements decomposition, systems design, test planning and requirements verification
• Documented experience across multiple phases of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle to include requirements analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off and transition to production
Desired Skills:• Experience working in an Agile methodology development environment using frameworks like Scrum and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Requirement management tools (DOORS Legacy and/or Next, Microsoft Excel)
• Experience with SysML Tools (Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, Cameo)
• Working knowledge of the System-Level Requirement Lifecycle (generation, decomposition, verification)
• Experience with High Fidelity Simulation, entry level understanding of software development methodologies
• Experience with Avionics, EW or Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) / Sensors either in a real world or simulated environment
• Active secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
