About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to work within the Business Solutions Enablement team (BSE) to lead multiple strategic change initiatives aligned to the priorities of CIB and enterprise efforts. This work includes leading the definition of target state solutions in alignment with business objectives, driving decision-making, working with process owners to determine impacts and key deliverables, and leading execution of the delivery across impacted areas.

In this role, you will:- Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
- Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis activities across multiple asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, etc.)
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
- Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for project execution, management reporting and business readiness
- Proactively identify potential risks when implementing change, and develop a mitigation strategy and plan
- Work with impacted areas to understand complex problems, and focus on bringing issues and risks to resolution; identifying solutions and developing clear options and recommendations that drive decision making
- Use problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) that are tailored to the problem
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Knowledge of institutional broker/dealer trading practices across a vast array of products including, but not limited to, foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and derivatives
- Big 4 consulting experience
- Ability to lead large, complex, cross functional area initiatives and delivery teams in a matrix management environment to meet business demand and expectations
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to understand lines of business and operational processes
- Ability to lead meetings, drive agendas forward, and influence decisions
- Experience managing timelines, budgets, forecasting, resources and reporting
- Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas, gather and interpret requirements, present options for meeting needs, and develop effective solutions
- Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments: cross-functional areas, large number of interfaces and data sources
- Strong problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivator and ability to learn independently with limited supervision
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Experience with Tableau, Visio and Power BI
- Demonstrated understanding and use of methodologies such as System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology and Agile methodology
