J&J Innovative Medicine (JJIM) is the commercial operating company for our pharmaceutical division. It is responsible for the access, marketing and sales of the pharmaceutical business in Greece and Romania, with a combined annual revenue of more than €400M with main offices in Athens (Greece) and Bucharest (Romania).
We are looking for a Head of Finance for JJIM Greece and Romania, located in either Athens or Bucharest. The Head of Finance will be responsible for the financial leadership, direction, and management of the pharmaceutical operating company in Greece & Romania. This includes the development, execution, management and follow up of strategies and strategic plans, as well as the translation into a Business Plan to maximize the value of our portfolio over the long term. In doing so, the Head of Finance will ensure alignment with all stakeholders across GRO as well as Mid-Sized Markets and EMEA. This includes the planning of revenue, allocation of resources, optimization of working capital and the management of the financial risks and opportunities. The role will also lead and coordinate the local finance teams and lead the organization though the finance transformation process. The role will report directly to the Senior Finance Director of EMEA Mid-Sized Markets.
Key responsibilities:
Business Partnering and Leadership
Active member of the Leadership teams of Greece and Romania, shaping and delivering business strategy. Focusing on value creation and driving competitive execution together with other members of the management team, Departmental heads and MSM regional management and local partners
Leading and partnering with relevant stakeholders to support the development of go-to-market and market access strategies, strategic workforce planning and resource allocation
Active member of the EMEA Mid-Sized Markets finance team, playing a highly collaborative role, sharing best practices, leading cross-country finance initiatives to foster learning, collaboration, innovation and value creation
Lead, sponsor and participate to cross-sector or EMEA wide initiatives in finance or in the business
Bring an external focus and establish connections with outside partners that drive business performance.
Financial Planning & Performance Management
Lead the financial planning of the Strategic Plan (SRFP), business plan, updates, IBP, and latest thinkings. This includes detailed analysis and scenario planning, alignment of all parties within the local leadership teams, MSM and EMEA.
Management of business plan commitments and performance reviews including sales, FTE, OPEX, DSO, cashflow, Capex, GTN and Secured Supply; bringing insightful drivers of variance, future risk, opportunities and action plans.
Actively contribute to commercial decision-making processes, including target setting and resource allocation/trade-offs.
Leading the Company in continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and championing the Integrated Business Planning process (IBP).
Compliance & Transformation
Ensure compliance with the J&J WW financial policies, HCBI, SOX, Code of Business Conduct and drive accountability throughout the organization
Ensure compliance with local regulations and Secure our Supply initiatives

Lead the GRO Business Unit Finance team

Requirements
University Degree & recognised professional financial qualifications
Proven track record as a Finance Leader with extensive experience in a large multinational & matrixed organization and exceptional financial and analytical skills
Strong track record in developing value creating strategies, plans and delivering results
Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable, including insights into healthcare systems and operations, especially within the GRO region.
Strong experience in leading diverse teams, leading through change and collaborating with senior management, business and functional leaders
Exceptional interpersonal skills, team player mentality and collaborative working style
Excellent communication, influencing, and persuasive abilities to frame financial narratives effectively
