Role definition:
Responsible for providing leadership and oversight to ensure the distribution center meets its operational goals, including budget adherence and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Make operational decisions under management guidance to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
Supervise and inspire distribution center staff through coaching, training, clear communication of expectations, and recognition of outstanding performance.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Implement standards for productivity, quality, and service; identify and resolve issues; contribute performance insights to strategic planning.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed.
Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
Required education:
Skills:
Problem Management in Manufacturing- MFG
Applies a systematic approach to identify and resolve problems.
Logs recurring issues and potential solutions.
Tracks resolution progress and communicates updates to stakeholders.
Follows procedures for handling unique or complex problems.
Uses software tools to report and monitor issues.
Distribution Center Management
Applies basic principles of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).
Maintains accurate records of items and inventory levels.
Identifies and helps reduce delays and inefficiencies that impact costs.
Uses inventory software to ensure timely and accurate supply movement.
Assists in solving space utilization challenges within the distribution center.
Customer Service Management
Understands the core values and principles of a service-oriented environment.
Seeks assistance when needed to meet customer expectations.
Recognizes traits of effective customer service.
Keeps customer needs at the center of team activities.
Additional Information:
This position will be located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
Work schedule is Monday through Saturday.
Relocation is not offered.
