We are looking for two passionate Safety Champions, one in Operations and one in Paint, to lead the charge in creating a proactive, positive safety culture across our operations. In this hands-on role, you'll deliver impactful training, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards.
What You’ll Do:
Design and deliver safety training for Team Leaders and Managers
Lead daily safety walks and monthly safety meetings
Coach individuals and teams on best practices
Support incident investigations and risk assessments
Collaborate on safety communications and continuous improvement initiatives
Champion safety culture and lead by example
What You’ll Bring:
Strong knowledge of HSE practices
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Self-motivation and ability to manage your own workload
A team-focused mindset and flexibility
Passion for safety and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
Holding a relevant safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) is an advantage. However, full training will be provided based on an individual training needs analysis to ensure you’re equipped to meet the role’s requirements.
Development Opportunity:
We’re looking for someone eager to grow—if you don’t yet hold a safety qualification, you should be willing and able to work towards one (e.g. NEBOSH or BSC Level 3).
Flexible working arrangements will be considered for this role, in-line with the needs of the business
Job Title: Safety Champion x2
Salary: starting £27,855 and rising to £29,279 once competency triggers are met
