Roles and Responsibility: -
- Responsible to lead embedded design and development of the product
- To write firmware code for the product & integrate it to hardware of the product.
- To do the testing at system & product level
- to meet all compliance requirement of the embedded design
- To deliver the assigned projects on time & with desired quality expected by OpC
Must Have Skills:-
- Must have extensive experience in coding using Embedded C Language- Structures, Pointers etc. Proven track record of New Product development.
- Understanding Real time system, MCUs, MPUs, Registers, IVT, ISRs etc. Experience with temperature control, position control, dispensing control. In depth Microcontroller PIC and ARM programing skills
- Develop front end user interfaces (HMI) including graphical and text based. Knowledge and use of OOP design principles, API design principles. Knowledge in low-power embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller-based firmware development.
- In depth SPI, I2C, RS232 communication protocol experience. , TCP/IP : equipment level interfaces based on TCP/IP. The experience can be based off canned code. Understanding of Protocol, How to use it, Debug issues arising from Physical layer (Bit Level Monitoring) etc.. Should be capable of debugging issues arising in Boards, relate it to Firmware/ Hardware implication and resolve issues. Having used and be capable of designing hardware independent firmware/software using layered approach will be advantage. Experience using or at least good understanding on Real time systems and RTOS Concepts, should have followed Proper Coding guidelines. Good to have System design knowledge, choosing OS, Peripherals required, safety regulations required etc. Good to have knowledge or experience in designing and implementing adhering to software safety guidelines. Good to have Experience in GUI Design tools such as Qt, C# or similar tools.
